hey guys, my headlights will no longer turn on. Even when I just try to turn on the brights, the blue light in the dash doesn't work. All the other external and internal lights work without issue though. The headlights have been flashing on and off for a while now, only when the car seems to be just starting up or cold though. Today, they just stopped. I also head a ticking like sound coming from the glove box just prior to this. I checked the fuses under the hood, and they are fine.

anyone have any ideas of what this could be??

Without knowing the year, it's a little hard to tell you what wires you can check for power from the headlight switch.
Replace the headlight switch I guess?

 

sorry it's a 94!

 

pull the HL switch out and test it. if it does not pass the test, repalce it.

 

I've been having the same problem. FWIW, I could replicate the problem by jiggling the relay underneath the hood, so I'm fairly convinced that this is the culprit. however, I've been busy and the weather's been warm, so I haven't bothered to replace it yet. Once I get around to it, I'll let you know if its the fix!
