I was going to suggest Invidia exhaust systems but see you are already looking at them. I have one on my 96 Accord and like it a lot. It comes out at a angle which I like but I've heard others say they don't like it. It basically is the same exhaust as the Skunk 2. Now it sounds pretty good inside the car and I like the sound outside too. It's deep not at all high pitched like a lot of the civics and stuff around here. It sounds deep but is pretty loud. It has a silencer that quiets it down some but is still fairly loud and then it sounds like it has an exhuast leak as it has a lisp to it which I don't really like but it is nice if you don't want it so loud. The system seems to be quality made I've had mine for slightly over a year and like it a lot.


Another plus is it is all stainless steel unlike the WS2 from Apexi which just has the stainless steel muffler.

I ordered my system from Raceinspired.com and they are also a sponser on here. I highly reccomend them if you are thinking about ordering it. I had a great experience with them although other places are probably good too.


I know these don't really help since it's not a 6th gen but here are a few pictures of what it looks like on my car.

I like the Greddy Evo 2. But I think you will have a hard time getting a high quality and complete header-back system for $550. I'm not saying it's not possible, just difficult.

hometheather, I appreciate the time you took to show me that exhaust system...it seems like a good buy..now I just have to see if it would be worth the extra $70 to get the evo2......what do you guys think? Evo or invidia?

hey man, is your accord and lx or ex and how do you like the exhaust? Does it matter whether i have a 2dr vs. a 4dr or an lx vs. ex? I ordered my Apexi ws2 today and this is what I got - 116-KH14 APEXi WS 98+ Accord EX Single 4 cyl.

My accord is a 2001 Value Package 4dr. I guess it would be similar to a dx. I have Apex'i part number 116-KH25. You ordered the exhaust for the 2dr. The 4dr has a slightly longer exhaust then the 2dr. I love this exhaust because it isn't loud and looks like stock other then the chrome and larger outlet. Also the welds on the exhaust are excellent.
