Freon Leak
I have a freon leak around the compressor. The system was charged then it was empty within 2 days. The dye that I put in was all around the compressor. I was just courious if a leak in the compressor was fixable. Could a leak from a O-Ring cause that much freon to leak out?
I looked at the compressor and there is a rubber plug that isn't plugged in in, I can't plug it back in so could that be source of the leak?
There is some oil around the fittings on the compressor that the low side line connects to. But there is a lot of oil on the bottom of the compressor could all of the oil come from that fitting or is there another source that I can't see?
