difference between cold air and short ram?
what is the difference between cold air and short ram intake? which would you prefer? and what brand, AEM or injen? does the cold air give out more hp, and if it does can you feel the difference from the short ram?

CAI are longer and they go underneath next to the engine.. and get colder air for the engine to suck in.. the short ram just gets more air than the stock box.. and supposidly the CAI gives more HP, but no you probably wouldn't feel the difference. CAI is only good if you don't live somewhere where it doesn't rain alot because they can suck in water and hydrolock your engine.

what if i replace my stock filter with a K&N filter from Kraigen's using my stock pipe. would that be the same as buying a new intake?
