Computer reset
Simple! With the car on, take the cover off the fuse box on the passenger side of the car just under the cowl. Locate the ECU fuse and the RADIO/BACKUP fuses. Remove them gently with a fuse puller or some pliers. It doesn't matter which one you do first, but the car will turn off. Leave them out for at least 10 seconds. Then, remove your keys from the ignition and replace the fuses in their respective locations. After waiting, turn the car back on; it will stumble at first, but then the ECU will begin to read the sensor info. That's it! Good luck!
This is what I do to reset the ECU.
Step 1 - Turn on the car and warm it up.
Step 2 - Turn off the car (some say to make sure all accessories are off) and disconnect the negative cable from your battery (you will lose your programmed radio stations).
Step 3 - Wait at least 5 minutes, and then reconnect the cable.
Step 4 - Start your car and do not touch the gas.
Step 5 - Let the car run for at least another 5 minutes then turn it off.
Step 6 - You're done, the ECU is now reset and you are ready to go.
