Default Check Engine Light

I have a '95 Accord Lx and the check engine light is on. The Code it is showin is code 41 which says primary O2 sensor/ heater circuit. Is it most likely just my O2 sensor is bad or could it be the whoile heater circuit. If so about how much would that run me?

no i would not chnge the o2 sensor unless i know exactly wats wrong.....

1......o2 sensor is unplug

2.....u blow the heater circuit fuse.

3. u change oil, accidently spill oil over.

4...if everthing looks okay, i now change it.....

(never exchange parts.

I Checked the fuse and went ahead and replaced it anyway but no go. I figure the sensor is probably bad because my car has 143k on it and i think it is original sensor. Does anyone know about how much a new one will cost?

160? I just bought a new O2 sensor 2 days ago for 60$. It's just the OEM bosch one at autozone. I was getting the same code as you were and changed it and now it works fine.

Not unless it's causing a problem.

One more ?...Would that O2 sensor not working cause my car to run really rich? Within the last week i have noticed a not-so-nice black buildup on my exaust and i wondered if that was it?

It can if it's output voltage is biased low.
