charging problems
Ive been trying to figure out what is wrong with my charging system in my 88 accord. altinator was tested twice and is good and ive checked all the wireing and it seemes to be fine but it will not charge if anyone hase any ideas of what it could be i would be greatfull
Check the Battery fuse (big 50amp sucker).
Give me a few hints here. With the battery fully charged, do the lights, horn and other such stuff work/
Do it start properly?

i have seen alternator test good intermittently .. have the tech test the charging system about 5-6 times in a row...
Also it could be a bad battery not taking the charge have it tested as well

Alternators can test good intermittently, but there are also batteries that can fail to hold a charge. This can even happen to a new one. Have you had your battery tested yet? Before pointing fault at the Alternator get your battery tested, if it passes then you have narrowed it down a lot.
