Take the battery back and get your warranty if it's truly bad (probably not). They can load test it for you.

Never go back to that repair shop again. They're total incompetents.

Go to a real shop and have them re-test the charging system or do it yourself with a voltmeter. Then test the standby drain.

yea you might have a drain on the battery somewhere or an alternator going out on you. first things first...check all your connections and your alternator fuse then go from there.

real simple test start car go and pull positive post off battery does car still run, normal,if it bogs down or starts running poorly or dies you probably have bad altenator,i tell customers time and again, you only get out of something what you put in,once a battery is charged it is only load on the alt. if you have multiple batteries and a factory alt. then you system is only going to be as strong as the factory alt. no matter what kind of battery you have your alt. is still going to be the weakest link.now if you have a voltmeter and know how to use it,start car, turn on headlights ,a/c,stereo at your normal listening level, and measure the battery posts with meter,if it is 13.2 or 13.5 or lower your alt. is the problem, your alt. needs to output a certain percentage higher than your 12.6 volt car battery or it will not charge.the alt. even with all the acces. on should be at 13.6 or higher.this is esepecially true if you only drive your car 10 -15 minutes a day,or in really bad stop and go traffic.and an under drive pulley on the alt.will only worsten things.and ps dont go back to that shop for your electrical system,go to a specialized shop, auto electrical repair shop
