CYP Sensor (Cylinder)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* not a valid code for any throttle body injection Hondas
** not a valid code for V-6 engines

This ,of course, would be 9 short flashes not 9 long. 9 Long would be your gas cap wasn't tight enough.

cyp is not invalid on pgm-fi.
take off your dist. cap and make sure the wires are still on the terminals.
i believe the CYP wire is green, not too sure though.

Reset and see if it returns...reset my brothers prelude for the same code...never came back.

usually due to a random misfire. I see it all the time at honda.
