I believe code 1-10 is a ecm/ecu code. Not completely sure. I was looking at the codes earlier today. U mite have to reprogram the ecu or maybe buy a new one.

codes 1 and 11 are for a bad ecu. code 6 is engine coolant temperature sensor. my car is displaying all of the symptoms of a bad ect from what ive found on honda-tech.

where is the ect sensor located

check the sensor to see if it is even bad to begin with. do this by back probing the pos and neg wires. with your car at normal opperating temp you should read .5 volts give or take .1 if its 0 or higher than 1 its bad

did you have the ignition turned on when you tested it? if you replaced your ect then you have to reset your ecu, disconnect the neg batt cable for a few seconds.

yea the wiring is good. im thinking the plug might have gone bad. same thing happened to my vss plug on the harness. im looking for a new engine harness now, i figure its gonna be a lot easier than dealing with a hacked harness in the future anyways

From what I understand, ECT sensors are known to throw codes b/c of oil from leaky cam seal getting on the wiring.

Does your cam seal leak and is your tranny soaked in oil like mine?
