Car throwing all sorts of "soft codes"?
I have a 2000 Accord EX manual.
In November of 2003 my car threw a code of 1146.
In February of 2004 my car threw a code of 1486.
I just took it to the dealer today and it was a code of 1149.
All these codes were considered soft since they reset it and none of them came back. I am just wondering what is really wrong with the car with all these codes coming up in a short amount of time.
The only engine modification I have done is a AEM short ram air intake (which I got crap about at the dealer for). They tired to blame the air intake for my problems. I have had the intake put on shortly after buying the car in 2000.
Any help would be appreciated.

Both of these codes call for replacement of the ECU in honda service bulletins. Your ECU probably is a P/N 37820-PAA-L80. If your mileage is low enough you might be able to get a dealership to good will a new ECU.

Re: Car throwing all sorts of "soft codes"? (under advisement)
From what I recall the 1146 was an EGR issue the 1486 was something to do with my ECU and the 1149 was an o2 sensor failure.
They told me that my aftermarket intake was causing my problems. They also told me my car was not applicable for any service bulletins that were related to any of these codes.
Any thoughts?

1149 is a air fuel sensor problem which could be caused by your intake. 1486 is a coolant system malfunction code. Both of these codes have TSBs calling for replacement of the ECM. I just dealt with this last week on a 2000 LX.
