Default car over heating problem but car is not hot

car over heating says the temp but car is not hot fam stopped working but new fan and now working
thermnosta was replaced and gauge still goes red

What year and engine is this Accord?

How did you verify that the car is not overheating?

May be a bad coolant temperature sensor. If it is hot even instantly when you turn the car on, I think that it is probably this. If it takes time, after you start the vehicle, even if it is just a minute, before it shows the engine is too hot, then it is probably not the coolant temp sensor. In that case it might be a blown head gasket. Watch Scotty Kilmer's YouTube video "How to tell if your head gasket is blown" or Schrodinger's Box "12 Ways of How to test a blown head gasket"
