Can anyone help me to Diagnose what's the problem?
I have a Honda Accord 94 ex, it has 160K on it. I don't know what's wrong with the car, i can't start it when the weather is cold, the electrical system is perfectly fine. I got a brand new distributors cables..ect. I heard the problem it's due to overheat of the engine which causes the Gasket ( the lower gasket of the engine) to bend. So what happen is the engine leaks pressure?? that's why it can't start. Anyway i'm really confused. I need your advice. Thanks guys really appreciated.

Does it run ok once it starts and warms up? From what I can get from your post it sounds like you overheated it and cracked a head gasket?

I don't know, but every time i turn on the car it does make whirr, whirr sounds like a normal car does. What happen is that i have to hit the gas paddle while start the car, then it starts up.

From this description it might be flooding on cold starts. First thing to try is to turn on the key and wait for the CEL to go out, fuel pressure is all the way, then crank the engine. Some spark plugs are more prone to flood out cold as well.

the car runs perfectly fine. could it be the fuel pump because not enough fuel is delivered to the combustion chamber?

The fuel injectors have a fixed pulse when the engine is cranking/not started.
When you step on the gas peddle you are opening the throttle plate and allowing more air into the cylinders.
If you hold the gas all the way to the floor while cranking the injector pulse will turn off.
There is a pressure test port on the fuel rail to check the fuel pump output, this test should be performed before deciding to replace a fuel pump.

If indeed the fuel pump was not outputting the correct volume/pressure, the car would not run perfectly.

I had a Jeep Cherokee that had this problem. The fuel injectors were covered in carbon. All I had to do was clean them off and it ran like a champ.
