Just to start out, I have a black 94' accord sedan and its a manual tranny (body is the best). Ok, my friend and I were having a debate. Now would spark plugs, or fuel injectors have a big influence on acceleration. (which one has more of an impact.) Also, he wanted to know what would win if it was a 99' black civic coupe vs a black 94' accord, (my beautiful car).

 

what does the civic have in it, what does your car have in it, what trim are both cars, how good is each driver, is the civic at or mt...

If manual then it would be close. The driver would decide the race.

 

Oops, ok the tranny for the civic would be manual. Now if both drivers were your average quickshifting, wannabe ricers, what would the outcome be. We were also talking about the weight ratio too. Many say the civic would win off the line, others say that the accord would dominate off the line.

 

if both are stock manuals then it comes to the driver/tire/weight/clutch condition/etc.
