To those who have PMed me... yes, I see what has happened lately in the Accord forum. Let me say this:
Since we implemented the Trial User system, new users do not have the ability to use the PM feature, or visit the Kills, MC, or GW forums. Hence the influx of OT posts in Accord. Since there is no such thing as a perfect system, work with it, and use tact. We'll take this thread as an example. In this thread, the matter could have been put to rest by stating: "go race at the track and find out." Enough said. Fact is that our internet attitudes get carried away too many times... but we're supposed to have fun and use this forum as a resource of information...
Moral of the story is this... sure, there are plenty of n00bs who are PITA's, but not all of them are. In fact, many people who come to H-T aren't new to the import scene at all, but are driven off by everyone's attitudes towards n00bs. Let them settle in, and if they say ridiculous things, feel free to call them out on it... but do it in a tasteful, witty, tactful manner.
Now go drink some
you losers...
