haha well you have me mistaken for someone with a clue about this engine. I've heard rumors of people putting H22A heads on the H23A1/F22B... For someone like me interested in FI, that prospect is not very appealing to me though. If I remember right people had to fill in oil gallerys and all sorts of funkyness like that.
theres a guy here named TeamElusive.. I'm not sure what his real knowledge level is on the F22B, but hes got one built up w/turbo.. might wanna check in with him. Anyone with a H23A1/F22B can help you since they are about the same.

Use the search next time. Some people really hate it when someone doesn't use the search option. Anyway here is a thread that covered this not too long ago. Also if you use the search you might find more on the subject, I only posted one.

Ooohhhh. I would imagine the the DOHC F22B shares the basic block layout as the H22, but I doubt the work will be worth it. The only feasable frankenstien engines are LSVTEC and CRVTEC. Even doing the H23/H22 frank would be a biatch and cost a shitload.

Re: ATTN. gimpy accord (F22turbo)
From my research the H23A1/F22B share more in common with the F22A1-4-6 (maybe the B1/B2??? but i think they have different rod lengths.. dont know much about the F22B1/B2) Than the H22A*.
Obviously that doesnt include oil/water passageways, but far as rod/stroke/BEB etc the F22A1-6/H23A1 are pretty close. H23A1 has a .039 bigger bore than the F22A1-4-6.
One interesting thing is the F22B/H23A1/F22A1-4-6/H22A share the same deck height (i'd wager a guess the B1/B2 as well)
I'm actually working on a H and F series engine Excel spread sheet with every possible spec ... so if anyone has thoughts/corrections etc lemme know. I would use journal widths for all the F and H series engines if you have them

Re: ATTN. gimpy accord (GimpyAccord)
I'm working on a spreadsheet for 90-97 (emphasis on the 5th gen) to break down all the specs (and differences). Let me know when you get that shiznat together.
