Default After an accident, 96 Accord won't start !

Last month I rear ended someone in my 96 Accord LX and took most of the damage. My radiator and hood were damaged along with losing a headlight, and my car died on impact.

Trying to figure out how to fix it, I learned that my car won't start or even crank over when I turn the key in the ignition. Also neither my dashboard lights or cabin lights come on at any time.

Any suggestions on what could be causing all this?

Start at the battery, checking for voltage, and go from there. Make sure the battery is undamaged, and that none of the cables are compromised. Then check fuses, etc.

I checked the voltage, it says it's still got 12.5v and none of the fuses look blown or anything, but I'll double check just in case

none of the fuses look blown?????? use a voltmeter or test light to check fuses. an eye can miss a hair line crack that we can't see. inspect the main fuse!! should be between a 80 to 100 amp fuse.
