Accord v-tech to non-v-tech swap
I have a 94 honda accord Ex v-tec and the motor is bad. It is my girlfriends car. Iwant to go to the f22b2. I found one in a 97 lx with 112,000 miles. I was wounting to know if the wiring harnes is the same and would i need to change comp?

the engine harness is pretty much the same I belive with the addition of the v-tec wires in the F22B1 engine harness. I'm not completely sure though.
I'm also pretty sure you would need the F22B2 ECU as well.

I'd recommend using the F22b2 ECU with the motor, just because it's a SOHC whereas the F22b1 is DOHC with vtec. If you try to keep the same ECU it's definitely going to throw some CELs because of the vtec not being hooked up, best case scenario.

The F22B1 is not a DOHC VTEC, its a SOHC VTEC
the H22 is a DOHC VTEC
but yes you would want to use the F22B2 ECU as it would be better able to run that engine.
