engine displacement
with money anything can fit. but sounds like your judging it wrong. are you speaking of a honda engine or anything. speaking on honda terms, for instance any h22 can be 2.2 up to 2.5 or more. displacement comes from the cylinders, not the size of the over all engine. now if your speaking of a 6 cyclinder into an accord bay, then thats a different story.
ok so i get to stay within honda/acura jdm motors, fwd for a fwd car, but another question, would i be able to fit a v6 3.5 litre engine in that bay? i have the f22b2 in my car, the 2.2 4cylendir, the engine i am looking at is a j35a3 or an acura mdx motor

if your really serious on a motor swap, do a search for possible swaps for your year car. check the stickies. that would be a good start. seems as though you have engines in mind but don't realize what it would take to make it work. especially if your trying to spend as little as possible.
