Default 92 Honda Accord motor swap issues.

92 Honda Accord with a f22 motor in it. That was already swapped. It overheats after about 45 min. And the TPS connecter is no where in site. The tps is there it's just not hooked up. And she idels at about 2200 consistently. No surging. Not sure if that would have anything to do with the overheating. My brother and I are new to Honda scene so I'm hoping you guys can guide us in the right direction. And by reading some threads some of you guys are on point. So ask away, I can take pictures or whatever it takes to get this little bugger running right again.

Does it overheat after idling for that long or driving? What F22 does it have? It originally came with an F22A(1, 4 or 6). Trace out all along your wire harness, that plug has to be somewhere.

I'm not sure which F22 it has. I have to cross reference the numbers yet on the motor. But I did trace and back and found the TPS connecter. It's was unplugged and hanging out lol But I did mangage to find out what was causing the overheating issue.... somebody thought they could patch a hole on the bottom radiator hose with some contact cement and about a mile of electrical tape..... after finding the issue with the hose I then decided pressure test the radiator for any leaks. And sure as **** the top seems we're leaking quite a bit. This is definitely all a learning experience for me. And since I had the radiator out before I found out about connector, I now have to wait till his morning to get the radiator install it, start it, make sure that is good and pray that the high idel went away. Smh go figure lol

Were you able to have the radiator repaired or did you have to replace it? I am assuming you replaced the house as well?

Yes we did the bottom radiator hose and replaced the radiator. And she runs like a top now. I didn't realize how much power you could lose with a shitty radiator and hose like that. I haven't felt the car drive like that so now I'm pretty excited hahaha so I plugged in the tps and now as I figured I have a surging problem. Which from what I seen could be a assortment of things.
