3rd gear problem...
i was drivin with a friend yesterday and while i was in 3rd gear, i accidently shifted to neutural without applying the clutch pedal. is this a sign that the clutch needs to be replaced?
Not necessarily. Worn clutch will slip when you give it lots of gas.
If you're just balanced between accelerating & engine-braking, you can shift your tranny out of any gear. That's normal.

the moment u release the gas pedal, u can pop it out to neutral. that is normal. u can do that on any gear. however, if u want to shift without clutch, u need to rev match really well. some cars can do it easily like on my friend's rx7, but not sure about integras, at least not mine, nor would i want to do that.
its called powershifting and it has nothing to do with the clutch pedal.
All you realy do is shift so fast you dont give the engine time to drop rpm's and your able to do this by simply applying throttle till desired point, and shifting W/O the use of the clutch while the rev is climbing EXTREMELY fast. Search you tube for "powershift"
