Default 2004 Hond Accord EX V6 alignment issues

My car veers to the right all the time...its really annoying me...
Its only got 4k miles on it..I took it in, and they said they aligned all 4 wheels and adjusted some caster thing..but it still veers to the right!!

What is it with these dealers? Are they incompetent? First the guy didn't even want to look at it, he started telling me how the freeways are crowned in the center so there's a natural slope to the right. I told him, ok sure but no car I've ever driven required me to constantly pull to the left to keep it going straight...so he agreed to have it checked out.

I'm not used to having a new car, I usually buy used Hondas and I take them to a mechanic I trust...so far, I'm not feeling much trust or confidence in Honda's dealer mechanics.

he is not lieing about the crowns in the road they can cause this but it sounds like your toe is messed up. tell him to print out the alignment sheet that comes with the alignment . this will say the specs he put your alignment to, you can either post all the numbers up here or take it to another mechanic and ask him is it aligned right, 9 times out of 10 he will align it right this time cause he is gonna need a print out. and if it is pulling to the left caster has nothing to do with that.

Thanks.
One thing I did last night was swap the two front tires, just to see if if it was a tire issue. I'm going to try it this morning to see if there's any difference.
I noticed that both front wheels weren't on very tight, the lugnuts were like finger tight!?? Crazy...
by the way, they recently had to replace the whole rack & pinion steering unit when the car was only 1200 miles because it was leaking some oil...

I will ask about the printout this time. Maybe I'll try a different dealer.

9 time out of 10 the problem is with the tires. (if the car hasn't hit anything) Crossing the tires to check is a very good idea before going any farther. The bulletin 00itr posted should be general knowledge for any tech. Your dealer should be able to repair your car without problem.

Thanks. I read the service bulletin. That's interesting. I will try the 6 second test myself. I need to get someone to go with me on the freeway to assist, so it might be a few days.
