I own a 1994 Honda Accord EX 2.2 lit Coupe (279,000 miles) Timing belt changed twice so far

One night while leaving work I noticed my engine hesitated to turn over - but did so slowly and was drivable. When I got home and woke up the next morning and turned the key, all I could hear is an audible click sound coming from the engine bay, car will not start, (gas tank was close to empty, no gas light on though) I have performed the following;

Tests:

Tested spark with spark plug tester - connected to spark plug wire and grounded to engine - no spark coming from tester

Checked battery at Advance Auto - Battery is in good condition

Checked starter at Advance Auto - Starter is in good condition

Turned key to hear if fuel pump is engaging - I can hear it whirring from gas filler area

Had friend crank the motor using socket wrench, took off oil cap to observe valve movement, saw slight movement inside motor

Checked fuses above and below motor - all are good

Parts replaced:

New spark Bosch Spark Plug Wires, new Bosh Iridium spark plugs, new re-manufactured distributor installed, new distributor cap from Honda dealership

Any advice or ideas are appreciated as my Accord has not turned on for 5 weeks now, considering having it towed to Honda Specialist but would like to get some ideas first, thanks everyone for your insight.

Have you tried jumping it at the solenoid? The ignition switch went out on my car and nothing happened when the key was turned but if I put the key in the run position (make sure car is in neutral or park) it would jump off at the starter and solenoid using 2 screw drivers. It would still turn off with the key.

Any codes?? I would do a compression test see if you are getting compression in all cylinders. Also just because you hear the fuel pump purge doesn't mean the fuel is reaching the combustion chamber.
