i brought my comptech lip to this big name supposedly the best paint * collision shop, a week later it still isn't finished WTF .. and they tell me the lip's quality isn't good at all and i should have got a oem lip yada yada.. i'm hella pissed, i spent more on the comptech instead of getting the JDMshit hoping the quality would be better.. so far not impressed by this shop

ah. gotchya. i feel the same way about my car. long story short; i was in a wreck last year that left me a quadriplegic. i haven't been able to drive my car snce. before my accident, i complained non-stop about my car being an automatic. now i'm glad it is because i can get hand controls for it. right now i'm learning to transfer myself from wheelchair to car and i'm so close to the point where i dont need help. once i'm able to get in my car, i'll buy hand controls so i'll finally be able to drive my 'teg again.

about mid-summer last year, i thought it'd be impossible for me to drive my car again. so i put it up for sale. once i started getting offers...i knew there was no way in hell i could part with it. it's y first car and i'll keep it 'til it falls apart.

soon i'll have some pics for you guys too. i found an automatic b16 trans...a local guy who knows how to wire tuck is going to tuck my car...my dad is painting my valvecover.... it'll look pretty

 

damn sorry to hear that man, back in 91 my family and i where in a really bad wreck, thankfully we all lived, my dad was paralyzed though, so all of his cars are equipped with those hand controls, glad to hear you kept your teg though! i can imagine it's not a ideal car to get around in..

not paiting the lip, getting the OEM lip from BG-33p. and already painted to match..he is a cool guy and i will have it by this weekend...so anxious to put that bastard on! might consider selling this lip by the way! -Ko

 

cool man.. i just picked up my comptech lip from being painted yesterday, tore it off last night hit something in the road it looked bad at first, i took some plastic polish to it and most of the scratches went away, between the polish and touch up paint i have it lookin good enough to go back on, bout made me cry i only had it on one day.. just long enough to make a sig pic lol

i've been tryin' to get jdm 94-7 foglights for months. they're near impossible to find. and i'm kinda wantin' one of those sivtec lips...

i hear ya man, i work in the ER at a hospital and i see some messed up people from car accidents who's lives are never the same. it's a big shame that something like that happends because of something stupid like drunk driving; but i have to give props to people who don't let it affect their lives and still live them to the fullest

damn dude i just bought some from password, said they were sold out on the site but i emailed them and they had 1 last pair

for colored rims i don't think you can beat Bronze, white, or gunmetal on teal tegs...

I love polished wheels on everything though!!!

 

i liked the polished wheels when i had them on, IMO white flows best with BG-33P
