sad day. aside from not having internet minus my mogul for a few days now... yesterday.. so halloween. on the way back from the valley I was on an inclined stopped waiting for traffic to move when theres a loud exploding pop sound from under my hood. sounded like in jr high tightly twisting up a bottle then exploding it with the force inside. my car instantly shuts off and starts rolling backwards. brakes everything froze like the car was off so I had to smash the brake pedal down and e brake it. lil humor. my buddy gets out to push me to the side. we are on an incline so all my coolant ispooring under the rear of the car. I take the e brake off and hear him yell no. apparently his feet slipped from the coolant and his chin hit my trunk hahaha. anyways. we roll the car down the hill backwards and into someones driveway when a really nice red crx drove by all ht done up. open the hood expecting to see a hole in my coolant tank of a broken hose from the coolant but the tank is just fine and still pretty full. I then see the black plastic top of the radiator is blown open. cracked all along the corner longer then a 12 in ruler. triple a got there I showed the tow truck driver and he was amazed at the carnage. sucks. first thing my mom said is shes not putting anymore money into this car to keep it running. me recently having left my server job for fulltime schooling is now fcked. not sure what's going down yet but its not looking good for the teg. not because of me. I understand no matter what a car will always have problems. selling it and getting a new car won't change anything but the title of my cash blackhole... but tell that to my mother. she flipped with she heard the news. I guess its my fault the car is a 94 and not brand new.

sorry about the errors im on my phone

Very nice pictures, Erik. The gen 2 looks damn good on there!

Epic - wait... you typed all that on your phone?

So, I got my teg running last thursday night. Went to Acura and picked up a few more coolant hoses, installed them, took the teg out for a drive and everything went well. The temperature was good and no coolant being spewed everywhere.

I was so excited lol, it was like a new car. Took her out friday night after work and went for a a cruise also. Oh, did I miss her!

Here's a few pictures from last week before I got her running.

Waxed her up and throw some protectant on the carbon fiber hood..

I got some recent pictures from this weekend, but I haven't downloaded them to my computer yet. I've been moving/replacing/adding harddrives to my computer so I've been in the process of cloning and partitioning drives.

yes it did, but the guy I got it from had already started to shave it off one side (mine had never been painted) so I just had them go ahead and take it off all sides. It's not real anyway and I'm not trying to pass it off as such.

Thats awesome on the R! I hope it's white (unless you plan to turbo it ). And you will really have NO EXCUSE to miss expo.

i got the jdm itr climate control and jdm clock, and usdm itr cluster. and scored an alpine cda 7894 deck that lights up in amber and the screen blacks out.

i thought about ls vtec and i was planning to do it but then i decided i can make way more power for less work and less money if i get a greddy kit. and theres nothing like the sound of a boosted car

nelson,

I've had both, but personally I'd go with a LS/V setup over FI. True you can throw on a Greddy kit and call it a day. But, will you be happy with the mediocre boost that that kit puts out? LS/V if done right will have a very usable powerband and is less aggravating in regards to reliability issues. If you're a wrench monkey and like to get under the hood often, boost it! If you just want something to mobb in everyday with no thought in the back of your mind of **** blowing up, go LS/V. Either direction, both are fun in their own way, it's all in your TUNE and BUILD.

Friend of mine was selling his turbo, injectors, etc because he's upgrading...but I don't want anything breaking on me cause I daily drive my car in PA.

What internal mods have you gsr/type r all motor guys done? I want something reliable, strong, and rip for my 4 door.

thanks alpha

i dont mind the responsibilities of taking care of a turbo car. and i plan to completely rebuild the block and put forged internals in, and also probably never run it over 10 psi. so hopefully she will stay running perfect
