haha freal.... thats pretty mickey mouse status... the best investment is a full coilover setup, like tein SS, might be alot of money, but it was damn worth the investment... n the coilover comes SAFELY WELDED to the shock . WOOT! </TD></TR></TABLE>

Hell my old H&R spring/AGX setup ran me a grand total of ~$400

And as you can see here, not slammed, but still rather low for just a basic spring/shock combo, not to mention it rode great.

I am just trying to steer some people away from the headache of ghetto rigging their rides.

arent stock honda shocks oil not gas shocks?
would a couple beads from an oxygen acetylene welder really blow you all up?
does everyone have to spend a couple hundred dollars on a 90 civic sedan just because he wants to go low?
im sure he is rolling on stock shocks already which are already blown, i offer a low cost solution for aesthetic results and all you guys hate cuz your cool with full bodies.
yeah i have done that setup before, and yeah it rode like ish. but other than the bumpy-ness it was acost effective result for my friends with low LOW budget who just wanted to make their ride look like mine.
i havent rolled sleeve overs for a long time
i currently roll aragosta full threads on my type R
apex-n1's on my EK coupe
and i got a set of skunk2 full threads in the wings for my next car.
quit being so negative and you try and come up with a solution aside from BUY FULL THREADS!! for all the guys who post here asking "how do i get my car lower?"

Back in the day before i knew better i bought a 95 celica gt-s brand new...had it 2 weeks and slammed that bitch. we took 3 coils ou of a 5 coil spring on the front. It rode like ***, my girl would not evne ride with me and on big bumps the shock would unload and the sp ring would fall off the perch but dam did it look good. It looks nice but im a wimp i cant do it to me or my cars anymore. Good stuff guys keep them coming

yep Whytey you are slammed
but please fix your bumper and headlights, they have bigger gaps then madonna's teeth. Or your body parts are just scared of each other and trying to get away.

actually you don't have to waste your money on new headlights. remove them, sand with 600 grit, then 800, then 1000, then 1500, then polish the **** out of them with meguirs plastx polish. they will bling harder than new headlights:

can't totally appreciate the out come due to low quality picture, but just know that they were worse than yours to start with.

as far as the front end, yeah you would have been a prime candidate for the ek hood gap crew she's been in a little fender bender or two...

to fix it you need to remove your front bumper, put the front of the car up on jackstands, and take a big *** sledge hammer to your front bumper support from the bottom pushing up. every now and then slide your front bumper back on to test for fitment until it looks great.

edit: CAR IN PIC IS NOT INTENDED TO BE SLAMMED, i am not one of THOSE retards. PIC IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY

I am not saying I am cool with full bodied coilovers. Here is a concept, dont ******* rush **** either, I drove a STOCK cx for a year and a half while I saved up enough cash for wheels/suspension/motor...if I can do it, anyone can. And who the **** lays beads with oxy/ace?! Stone age technology my friend, and you have to be good at what you do to lay a nice bead with oxy. MIG would be the most cost efficient and TIG would be more expensive but the most reliable.

Because I rule and can pretty much do whatever I want. Do you know who the **** I am?

Not to mention I have posted numerous pictures of my car, so I think a picture from before I was slammed wont hurt, and if you happen to think it will, then you can kindly plant your lips on my ********

i was just in my garage drooling over the koni's i picked up yesterday, and i plan to slam the miata as soon as the gc's get here, and then even lower with aftermarket top hats.

i have a ?question? for you dumped fellows who made a mistake and took out your oil pans...

did you suffer any engine damage etc? or was it just replacing the oil pan...no big deal.

i have no problem driving carefully and avoiding road imperfections, but in the event that something extreme does go wrong...how often is engine damage a result?

the pic of the totally cracked oil pan a few pages back got me a bit scared...

yeah man.. I dont even have a support hahaha but the headlights are either ganna be cleaned or like I said above just ganna get the new ones from my friend, the reason I said I had no lip is because everyone keeps saying for me to get one... I'm like why? so I break it in 2 days haha
