Re: Official Honda-Tech Reject Squad v2.0
well i just put my new Blox TPS in the car and put a new digital media player in as well. No cd player just usb and sd memory card slot with radio. And my new lower H brace will be in today and the camber control arms tomorrow. Maybe this will be a good couple days especially if my daughter gets to come home tomorrow

Re: Official Honda-Tech Reject Squad v2.0
what do you mean whats the point of an ls/vtec? the ls bottom end provides really good torque, and the gsr head is good for high rpms and high power due to vtec. here, check some of these out. also, check out the civic forums for some more good info on ls/vtec. its a little more complicated than just putting a head on a block. gotta do oil lines, some wiring, vtec enabled ecu, ect...anyway, here's some links.

Re: Official Honda-Tech Reject Squad v2.0
why do you want or need a vtec controller? why not just have your ecu chipped? vtec controllers aren't all that good cause you can end up with less power due to not having enough oil pressure, or fuel in the system that vtec ecu's have a curve for.

so the ls bottom end has more torque then a gsr or type-r bottom end?

Re: Official Honda-Tech Reject Squad v2.0
i have a chipped ecu on the way as well. just wanted a vtec controller for a lil adjustability at the track. otherwise the vtec controller will stay set at the same as what the chip is set for, 4500 rpm. Plus the vtec controller i ordered has a built in tach and shift light so i can take the stupid 5 inch monster tach out.

Re: Official Honda-Tech Reject Squad v2.0
the ls bottom end WITH a gsr head is more torque than a gsr with a gsr head. a stock ls bottom end, with a gsr head is good for about 150 whp. thats pretty good considering an ls is way less, and a gsr is a little less than that.
