Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
Hey guys, i'm kinda stumped right now and was wondering if anyone here knows whats wrong with my car. A few nights ago i was slowing down at a stop light and it suddenly just died on me. I recently just did an MPFI swap on my sohc zc and it was running perfect afterwards until a few nights ago. There is no spark, no fuel, and no power going to my ecu. I just replaced my alternator, checked all my fuses and none are blown, tried jumping, push starting, and nothing worked. Everyone is saying that it could be my main relay but i just replaced it today and still doesnt start. The car cranks but does not start & i dont hear the fuel pump kick in when i turn the ignition. Does anyone have any idea on what other possible things it could be? I'm in need of a car right now and pretty desperate since it's my only transportation other than my skateboard. -_- And its toooooo damn hot to ride that around right now.

Re: Official EF SEDAN SQUAD Thread
check your "key ignition switch pig tail harness". its a major problem with ef's besides the main relay.

Would it still crank if there was a problem with the key ignition switch pig tail harness? The car still cranks but just doesnt start.

yup, it would turn over, but not start.
just look at the "solder points" on the end of the harness.
if they look burnt of flat, its time to replace it.
it shows you what im talking about in that link.
it will also cause the engine to cut off while driving down the road.

You said no power to the ecu? Did you really check it with a mulitimeter? YOu might want to take a closer look or swap the ecu.

just wondering if any of you guys are running a b-series with power steering and ac? I plan on doing that and wanted to see pics of engine bays with these luxury accessories.
