Yea, but it's a stock tune, only 10 psi, nothing to smile about, but with 201 lb.ft. of torque, thats what gets it moving. You would be surprised what it does! With just a simple chip I will be pushing near 300+hp/lbft add a DP and HPFP and it's closer to 350hp/lbft. All on stock internals... You can push it 400+...

Some of us dont need all the amenitites,ive had newer cars, they are fun, but i prefer an older car
If i wanted a new car, believe me i would have one, and it would be faster than a jetta, now dont get me wrong i like the jettas, but its all preferance..
So before you say that im "hating" get the facts straight bro
I dont know if this is new enough for you though, bought it brand new off the lot.......
Got the 06 after i had my 04

soo i started with new cars, i just choose to build older cars

Nah you know what, the golf is a good family car. You have some power and style. Im not hating at all, its a good car, i would drive one, Would have to be red or that silver color. If I had some kids and a wife, i would own that, or a subaru wagon.

I like the "family" styled sporty cars. I don't really like coupes or hatches. Although when I had my Versa, it was a hatch, but it was soooo ****ing roomy! Don't worry Jon, I will take you for a ride next time I see you, and you can be the judge if it's slow or fast... I will have to take a pic of people riding in my car, everytime I shift, their head bobs! lolz

Evan the new rim colour looks GREAT.
It's not that we're hating clipsed, just some people resent having VW rammed down our throats. I'm sure it's a nice car, and those engines are incredibly flexible, but it's just not everyone's preference.

i was modding my 06 Aerio for a while there. it's a new car, so it was COMFORTABLE and RELIABLE. two words i couldn't use to describe my EF sedan since i started modding it, that's for sure. but the Aerio isn't nearly as much FUN to drive as my EF sedan. BUT i could mod the hell out of my Aerio, take it and leave it ANYWHERE with no alarm and no worries. here in the Phoenix area with the EF sedan...i stress about it getting jacked every second i'm not driving it, even WITH layered security. it's a reality that could happen anytime for any reason whether theifs want it for what it has, or because it's a joyride thats easy to steal.
i know i can't compare the Suzuki Aerio with the VW's community and aftermarket support, and THAT is what i'm jealous of
. i also agree with your views on Euro vs Honda "scenes" as well. VW owners have so much more taste/maturity/class than Honda owners. sooner or later the Honda kids COPY VW styles, but it's just not the same

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the EF 4 door, always have, and I hope one day I can own a REAL EF5, but it's just not something I want to be a part of with all the stupid stuff people say. I love the EFSS, and for the most part, all the squad members are cool and chill peeps, there are only a couple people that I bump heads with, but w/e ya know.
I just can't see me putting more money into the EF and then one day coming out and NOT seeing it where I left it. It's sad what people have come to, and not being able to make an honest living and just steal other peoples stuff. Even sadder when my Suzuki key works to open and start Hondas too
I do, yet don't care if people talk crap about my GLI or VW's for that matter, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I find it really funny that they may talk madness yet they use VW parts on their Honda's like the Jetta Lip (lol Four-G I think you have one
) At the same time, look at what all is done in the Honda Scene to get power! Motor Swaps, Turbos, built motors... In the VW scene, **** man!... I plug in to the diagnostic port, upload a program, and I will be making 50+ more hp and tq in a simple stage one program while the Honda guys are doing their motor swap, spending more time AND money to net them maybe 20 more hp. NOT that practical.Anywho, still... We're all family in the squad!

anyways....look what i painted today for my friend. not done but in progress. 10feetx12 feet wall. spray paint and airbrush.
