only one i can think of off the top of my head is the HASport y-49 one with the supercharged K. oh wait, nevermind, there is a spoon EF9, and a couple EF8s that are track prepped. there was a video of one running on the track against an FD3S (it was a maroon color i think)

i dont think that would really be true in a tighter track. and are you comparing a stock EF or a swapped EF? if a K-swapped EG on street tires (TOYO RA1) can almost beat the wrx sti (on racing slicks, pretty much all out race car) to win the american touge thing with bolt ons. i think an EF would give those cars a run for their money, and maybe even surpass them with a properly engineered suspension/tire/ engine setup.
the skyline is pretty heavy. the nsx's power to weight ratio is probaly not as good as the CRXs (with built K, built B). remember, some K swapped cars can destroy corvettes on the track and on the road.
EDIT: 1/4 miles
corvette= 12.xx
nsx~ 12-13.xx
skyline~ 12.xx
crx w/ stock block K~ 12.xx
add 100whp (as is being done with pretty much stock K swapped cars) and good bye opponents above.

CRX Touge Monster. I have never seen the one this car was in, but apparently it destroyed allot of ****, by that I mean the competition not it's own parts. Also to clarify they are people landing high 11's with slicks and stock K's........I ain't afraid of no NSX, Porsche, Skyline, ect......

It allows realtime editing of your hacked ECU.
Apparently that crx above weighs about 1600lbs, and needs all the downforce. I never saw the vid but I read about it in another thread. They said it terrified the drivers with it's stability, or lack there of.

yes indeed. my kind as well. IDK how they got it that light though. Unless my car is lighter than my estimations. 1600lbs is nothing. I need to weigh my car when it is done. With a full cage, and all those wings, that sounds like an awful low number.

Your new avatar is awesome.
I don't think that # is too far out of reach. My hatch is about 2150 from the factory. The only thing I'm putting back in the interior is seats and a dash (gutted, of course). Due to the fact that I'll have an alum rad, no a/c, no radio, no speakers, deleted wiring, no p/s, no rear bumper support, sliced/diced front support, aftermarket cross member, fuel cell, etc., I think it's going to be pretty dang light. When we pushed it up on the trailer it wasn't centered, so we just grab ahold and slide it into position. Right now there's no steering column in it so we slide it around the shop as needed. It's a one man job. Ideally I could drop quite a bit more weight if I got rid of the side impact crap, but I'd like to keep it in there for my peace of mind. After all, the HFs are super light with a bunch of the stuff I listed.

Thanks the Avatar is Bubbles from The Trailer Park Boys. My favorite show ever. It is Canadian TV, so you have to DL it, but it is great.
Now onto the weight game. I have pushed my fair share of Hondas around as well. Mine will soon be on it's way to the body shop as well. I have no bumper supports, no side impact beams also swithed to lighter 88 doors, and I am removing my sunroof, in exchange for a HF roof. I also have no rear interior from the doors back, and no heat or radio. I have a small 25x4 amp that weights 1lb 14oz, and plug that into my MP3 player, and have 2 doors speakers. That being said. I am afraid the increased weight of the K, and larger brakes, heavier tires, big sway bars, roll cage, ect, will add up. A stock CRX HF is 1819lbs. I bet I will be right about there, maybe a little more. 1600lbs is unfathomable. Maybe with no cage, and D series.

Without a single doubt. I was probably under a ton before the recent reworking, so I can attest that 220whp moves it just fine.
I've had no complaints from those who have been in it either. I got used to it though, so cams, cage, and a few other items must go on. My goal was to go with 88 doors with no impact beams, and no sunroof, and keep it about the same, or less weight. I bet I saved 150lbs just off the doors, so I should be good to go.
