so whats your experience with konig wheels. i mean, i have heard of them longer then i have heard of rota. i have seen a couple posts in which rota slipstreams have fallen apart (but if abused by owner is unknown). heck i have seen multiple complaints of the mugen RNR? wheel cracking by regular street driving. i have seen pictures of best cast and forged wheels.

i thought there were reports that the spoon sw388 wheel also suffered from bending, seeing how it is considered a track wheel.

my friend and I drove 25 miles with a flat tire on a konig tantrum when we got home the wheel was so hot you could pour water on it and it would boil...he beat the **** out of the for a while longer......then urban tank beat em some more...then some fat albino kid stole them

i mean 3-5 years ago people werent hatin on konigs
they were copping up verdicts and tantrums and all the boodykits they could find on ebay so fast it would make your eyes spin

now everyones like "naw man im JDM, I gotta have a forged magnesium aerospace titanium donut so I can drive 3 miles to work everyday"

i dunno "to me a wheel is a wheel"
if a company made a round blank with the proper offset and size id buy it

Are the SW388 really worth the 2k price tags? Anybody have a set of SW388 on their ITR?
I still have a set of 16x7 SW388 for my ITR.

Are they worth it? Hmmm. Depends on what you want them for and what you're doing w/your car, I guess.

They are definitely strong but not invincible. After several seasons of hard track use at the hands of several drivers, we were able to actually break one SW388 but got another one fairly easily from A J Racing. I doubt a normal user would ever put his SW388 what I (and Corey and Warren and Bryan and Morgan and Stadulis and Oscar) put mine through.
I'd buy them again, if that means anything.

was this a question for me? i drive my car a lot and hard. there are tons of crappy roads where i live and it beats the crapola outa my wheels and tires. to me track use isnt too hard on rims. unless your going over the bump strips all day long. even then, huge potholes, rocks, etc. can do lots more damage then what you will prolly see on the track.
