I have to thank FedEx for <U>completely</U> trashing my SiR hood. It was bent up on all for corners, 4 or 5 decent dents and several dings that looked similar to the after math of hail, but from the under side. I'm waiting for another one to come in.

Yeah it was insured. I get the first pick of the next shipment thats comes in from Japan. I was told it'd be the end of this month sometime.
I think I might look into having a custom cage built, but I don't have a clue what it'll cost. The S&W 10pt cage is $350 shipped. My only concern is the fact that it's bent/sized for a car with interior pieces like the headliner and plastics, and since I don't have any of those, the fitment won't look too hot.

Funny thing, i was thinking about that today. Just in general how gutted cars, with cages for use with interior panels would have big gaps. I'd go custom cage, like i always said lol.

you kylefakesi-r....I saw your old black hatch getting gas. Man is that thing beat. The hood is all dented up, he must have ran into something, and it sounds like the muffler is falling off. I promise if I see that pile again I'll grab your sticker

I'm picking up and 91 DX hatch shell today for $300 with no rust, clean interior, and only has 1 dent on the whole car. Needs a driver fender, thats it. I think I'm doing the dfi-mpfi conversion and throwing in my friends old d16a6 swap for now, but I wanna wire tuck and **** first.

ps should I repaint it red (was thinking about going milano red) or strip it and go maybe... gold, white, or maybe a galapagos green? I can't decide...

depends on your budget. mines red, and i'm having it repainted red so i dont have to do the engine bay and door jambs.
