sorry for the double post, but has anyone heard about the "old school" meet in long beach? its coming up soon, its all over the toyota forums for the guys with the older carollas. there will be honda guys there but im sure it will be mostly cvcc guys with 1300cc motors on sidedraft carbs

thats the one i was talkin about. im hoping itll be full of old 'rollas and dimes. not to downplay anyone but there are few things in this world as hard as a 510 or '71 carolla on deep dish wheels as old as the car.

edit: ive got a buddy headed out there with a 72 skyline and 72 fairlady both on charcoal watanabes, both brought over from japan on 2 separate deployments. looks just like the fairlady from the old "mr. nissan" commercials from the late 90's

i'm not sure about the lip either. i think it will last about 1 week before getting torn off

since that car is already pretty much in the "under reconstruction" status, i say its a perfect candidate for a 90-91 usdm CRX front end, with a password lip.


ditch the ebay headlights and EG lip at a minimum kaythnxbye

the car wont be sitting this low for long. i'm still undecided on the lip but i will go back and try and do it right. i'm leaning toward the j's racing lip kit. the projectors are for hid's and will flow better once the corner lights are changed and the front end is painted.

the car is an 88, anyone like the different front end is what i was shooting for

i wont say names but i hear theres someone on here who can get passwords fiberglass lips for a bill new.

i have an 88 crx front bumper you can HAVE if you get the fenders to do a rex front on that thing.
