I dont stir up to much of a ruckus, but coming from a sr powered car...i had a very good 91 se-r with light mods and it would run circles on a b16 all day long. The SR is a fantastic motor and much better low punch then any b-series imho. Do the KA or SR Duff you wont be dissappointed. And the VE motor will destroy a b16. Its nissans version of vtec but they got it right. Yes im quite sure ill be flamed for this but after reading opinions i just thought i would throw mine out from a Nissan guy. No direspect to any honda owners are people on here. Drive a de-t sometime duff im sure it wont be hard getting a test drive out there in cali.

yea a VE will annihilate a b16 but now youre talking 1.6 vs 2 liters. at least make it a gsr vs VE to make it fair hahahahaha. hell a D16Z6 with a mild cam and IHE will OWN a b16. read the rmf thread. hahaha.

seriously probably 115whp on a GOOD day but who cares? the **** is pure "minimalist" i love that car.

Yeah im puttin them on a sohc zc non vtec.
try to find a wild cam some good headers w spec 2 exaust maybe go to 1.7 liters and build the head all mota sohc

adapter plate separate = 500
ae111 itb = 50 bucks from yard

Has anyone been able to tune a SOHC w/ ITB's. It seems everyone I see ends up selling theirs because of the lack of drivability, gas mileage, hiccups, etc.

thats a vaccuum box issue. map issue. it can be done.
personally id put quad mikunis or a couble 2 barrel webbers on a d15b before i did anything else. talk about a wire tuck.
