I got a 9 mile commute each way tomorrow. I will think of the madman, while spinning the cranks!

all I have is a Si front sway bar and a upper strut bar</TD></TR></TABLE>
That's why. After I swapped my b16 I had azenis and omnis, with no sway bars. The car scared the crap out of me on any turn over the speed limit. Find a Si or Da sway bar for cheap. You don't need strut bars if you have a bolt in cage.

So hopelfully within the next month some H&R race and rear lower control arms (haven't figured out a brand yet) and Si rear sway bar should help out.
I just didn't know a alignment played that big of a factor. I thought it was just the sway bars.
for learning something new</TD></TR></TABLE>
so you know how to align a car but have no idea the theory or purpose?
take it to a real shop, have tehm use a real rack and get real measurements so the thing doesn't fumble all over the road.
andy's was especially pleasant to do because his was an unmolested/undercoating soaked behemoth. i still have black **** stuck to my sockets from 2 summers ago...and i look forward to doing it again when it comes out of the garage next spring.

yeah sounds weird huh
but its not hard putting a car on a Hunters alignment rack and following the directions and OEM specs they provide on the screen but it doesn't mean you'll fully understand what you are doing if its your first time.

you sitll need to understand the theory before you do it. just setting everything to the "green" doesn't give you a properly aligned car. it gives you a pretty printout but the reality is the car could have some serious shakes and twitches going around turns because you have conflicting angles etc. a bad front end alignment where the car may drive perfectly straight could cause a shake that is possible to be misdiagnosed as wheel balance issues etc. then you start pissing money and time away on chasing a nonexistant problem because one job was not done properly.
theory>execution. you really need to understand what you are doing to accomplish it properly. such as having the toe in's equal side to side to prevent dogtracking...how much toe in for what style of driving. how rear toe can affect front toe and how lowering a vehicle creates differnt angles dependant on how it settles.
you seriously need to study before you put it on a rack and do it right or need to pay someone to do it right.

I think it works if the years are the same. I know the 88 flaps fit terrible on the 90 bumpers of a hatch.
Mekanism - I hope you have a big trunk, cause I'm puttin' my bike in it

Does anyone know much about installing SIR knuckles on a usdm car? Other than cutting the tie rod 1" (did that on my last car) is there any other ways to make it work?
