Really. That gives me hope. I'm hoping my s/c b18c will be able to do the same. should be around 210-220 whp when i'm all done.

CRX bra people. Anyone have a problem with the material on the underside of the hood from the bra coming too close to their manifold? On my car the bra is seriously close to my edelbrock mani. Last hing I need is a fire.

I'll be running 6 psi to start, then 8 after it's tunned. I've got an ITR gear set in a 92 ls case. Cable ITR basically. I don't know how fast it will be, but it will be more autox and track instead of straight line

Absolutely. My ITR tranny made such a difference in just my stock LS motor (which is dying). She hauls *** now. Does nothing but pull at all times. Freaking love it. The LSD is nice in the corners too. It feels odd not having any wheel spin in the turns anymore. hehe, with my 6 puck it even chirps 3rd.

You must have one of the heavier cars. Sub 2000 lbs on street tires, past 250 whp gearing doesn't matter.
At 400 whp, 2100 lb car, 24.5" slicks, LS gearing rules.
There is an operative region inbetween where vehicle weight, and whether or not you are running slicks, dictates the power at which gearing "matters" or not.

Na crx si (90) no heat, no ac, no washer tank, no rear wiper. True by selecting a proper tire size makes a HUGE diff, but im still running 195 60 r14 on stock wheels
.
WHat are you doing in here man? thought this was FI boards for a second

Yah, I guess 2250-2300 lbs plus driver you'd feel a difference. There are no grippy tires in that rim size, btw, short of the M&H 15" DOT slick. Hint hint.
What am I doing here? Alas, I have become indiscriminant in my old age.

it starts out 2150 with ac, pull all that crap out and add b16 + hydro tranny, turbo **** and 3" exhaust and i bet im close to 2000 + my ****
I got the best 14s i could short of slicks, azenis. They impress me much more than the warriors that came on the car . So what u driving these days?

89 HF with cable trans/ITR and turbo goodies and 110 lbs of cage = 2100lbs without driver. There is very little chance that a 200 lbs heavier 90-91 with a couple hundred extra lbs of sunroof and sound deadening and options weighs a flat 2000.
Most of the published weights are completely wrong... find a quarry, or scrapyard, and get your car weighed. The scales they use are certified within 20 lbs, and I guarantee you will be surprised by what they tell you.
PS - Chris, scroll back a couple hundred pages, I've been here longer than you.

Yeah i need to find a scale, ive been wondering what it wieghs in at. Plus i have smaller battery, no sound deadening and other crap deleted. A cabon hood and sir front + bumper support (hood is 15 lbs i believe and the sir front has plastic headlight compared to glass) Not that those parts make a huge difference.
Hey what are you running for Fuel mang, these days?

I think I jumped in around page 200 or so. I remember everyone making big deals about the next hundred pages. 500 was a benchmark.
