But i guess i can wait another year
Suspension will hopefully be done this year
Winter is probly when i got buy a GSR motor

I just found some Rota Subzeros for $200 with tires, but they need some pant. What color should I paint them? They're going on my black DC4.

 

It depends on ur theme... like my DC4 was silver and I did black wheels bc I had black vc and air intake so the black wheels went with the car. On my DC2 I'm doing white with purple... already have my vc done and my CAI and wheels will be done soon... Black and white you can pretty much do whatever you want.. makes it tough bc you have some many options lol

 

if my car is up and running and looking the way I want possibly...need to get my coilovers ordered so I can get everything ready for an alignment and what not...and where is it at in missourri...might bring a few other cars if its decently close

 

my buddy had em and was not impressed, returned dem da next day haha...

act 6 puck sprung clutch,fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel,and and heavy duty pressure plate for sale. has about 1500 on em, asking 300

also s100 for 150...pm me, heres a video of my car on the dyno, hit 183whp and 125tq back on the dyno in a few weeks

 

Its in Columbia, some park... I'm in the process of selling some of the nicer parts off my car to get coilovers lol.. wish they weren't so damn pricey

 

What didn't he like about them? I know the spring rate is lower which is find for my dd

 

im not sure he just didnt like the ride comfort, he said it was little bouncy and i guess they sent him one that was squeaking a lot

 

brand new Function Form Type1s are like 600bucks shipped from Weaksauce. What brand are you looking at?

 

check out blox they have good coilovers, or you can pick up some d2 and call it a day

 

d2s are more expensive than FFtype1s.
I havent heard anything good about Blox. And they are the same pricing as Function Form.

If i was you, i would just get some Ground Controls for cheap and find some new shocks like Tokico Illuminas or KYBs until you can afford to spring for Konis.

 

Honestly I have been looking at everything... I have heard Skunk2s are stiff so not really anything thats stiff bc I dd this car.

I would love to get a Koni GC set up but its more then I'm wanting to spend right now.

I considered blues and GC's but my buddy advsd me not to get blues. I have had Illuminas and like them but those are as much as coilovers.

What I have been looking at:
A guy I know started up his own company and builds coilovers, seems straight up, He has fully adjustable for $550
Godspeed (just read a review) I'm kinda hesitant though bc I can't really find to many reviews on them or people that have them.
I have been searching all over for used set ups... not much luck at all

I priced lots of websites on shocks on the idea of getting them and GC's but that still hits about 700

I'm really open to anything...

well, im sure you know you cant buy something cheap and expect it to be comfortable and last long when youre low. the coilovers i have are cheap, and ride ok but theyre temporary and i didnt expect much from them.

weaksauce is doing a deal where you get a free set of f&f lca's when you buy any set of f&f coilovers. so thats like getting the coilovers for $450 or so

 

Yea ive decided to just keep my DC4
Ill just finish up the suspension this year
Then hopefully next year ill drop a GSR in

 

Well I'm not expecting them to be the greatest... or to last forever... but next year with my tax return I could get a good set up maybe

already got a polished set of f&f lca's lol might go for a set of their coilovers too...they're pretty dope...n just sell the lca's lol
