i'm running ddm 5000k HIDs and love them.
plug and play kits are as cheap as about $50 shipped for 35w and $70 shipped for 55w. They are definitey worth the money over those sylvania bulbs which only last half a year and are nowhere near as bright.
So to any people who want to upgrade their lighting, I would suggest trying out a plug and play kit first and if it thats not throwing enough light, look into retrofit options.

so sunday yesterday i went to an s2k meet down in springfield, MO. not too big of a turn out, it was me, my fg2 buddy, evo9, 2 s2k friends and there were like, 2 bimmers and 8 or so s2ks, all were stock or lightly modded with 2 turbo dudes, my friend making 310 and some guy in the marines making 611... when we hit the twisties he couldnt keep up with me because all he would do is spin =[. it was fun, havent hit a road like that in forever. i was chasing my friends fg2 while he was behind 4 s2ks and the evo. good times up untill you run into the tractors on the road going 20 after you've been doing 70-80 the whole time. there should be pics somewhere in s2ki forums, ill post up when i get home.
