The OFFICIAL DC Squad --Version 2--
Do any of you guys run HIDS? I am considering it... also considering doing a retro fit.. heard they are better when you retro fit oem hids from another car... anyone know if thats true?
i have hids. i believe its the 6k(blue/white). stock headlights. they are okay wish they were brighte. not sure if its the cheap hid or maybe like u said i have to retro fit them
Yeah see I don't know jack about HIDs because on my 99 DC4 I just through the raybrig fogs on and i was good... on this I thought I would try the HIDs route bc I'm not really wanting to put fogs on this car.
Ah I see... hmm... guess its time to do more searching lol, I have a junk 94-97 headlight to experiment on so I could play on that to see how I need to do my actual good headlights lol
Hey eg2jr, do you think its worth doing a retro fit or for the money is just getting aftermarket hids for a teg the way to go? I live in MO so I haven't seen any retros done in person lol
... how are you going to keep dirt and dust from entering your itb? just bought a sticker for $5
"no fat chicks car will scrape" should go great with my coilovers
Yeah I have kinda talked my self out of doing a retro fit.. just trying to decide if I want to go for the plug and play or just get some silverstar ultra's or something like that
well hids are pretty cheap now.. i got mines for $65
also does anybody know a good website where i can order my exhaust bolts... i need the ones that connect the header and cat together (itr)

i say go for it. i never retro fitted my headlight but iv seen a few people with great outcomes. getting after market hids IMO is easyer(plug and play) and cheaper.
