BUTTHOLE

So heres my pathetic attempt at trying to rattle can my front lip.




Wet sanded down with 320 & 400 grit.


3 coats of primer


Light coats here and there..


Finished product I guess lol.


Everything was kuuu until I started spraying the base. Got even worse when I layed the clear. I sprayed it waaay too wet and everytime I would try to spray the clear, little clear speckles would appear on the lip. So I gave up and said fack, it I'ma send it to a shop. It wasn't that bad, but not near perfect as I wanted it to be. I really do wish I could learn how to paint stuff. I wanna save a bundle and paint my 98 rear bumper on my own. But my technique sucks! Page 300!!!

 

DDing a slammed car is so much easier in TN than in PA...

I cant wait to graduate so i can get out of this terrible state

where i live you have some mad pot holes. in just 3 months i blew a new coilover. i hope i get it replaced for free but i doubt it

 

F*ck paint... this is what I did with mine lol

 

Has anyone replaced the bushings in their stock LCA's? Instead of buying bling lcas I'm just use my stockers

 

Ugggh.. I think Ima try to paint my rear bumper on my own. I need more practice, but I think I have the hang of it..

u should clean up those headlight 99sil-teg... they look kinda faded

 

With a paint gun or spray paint?

and for headlights painting them is the only way to go

wetsanded mine and recleared them and they look like glass now

 

Oh I don't have that car anymore.. got me a 94 gsr.. I have been hiding it bc its not ready to come out yet lol.. pretty stock

 

Spray paint hahaha. I would love to use a gun b/c I have the compressor & gun but I'm too noobish!

If I paint my rear bumper, should I spray from one edge to the other edge. Or by little sections.

I think the toughest part for me is the clear. Its hard to get that "wet" look..

 

please dont bring the mothers into this jerry....

how much sanding do you have to do to paint wheels? like if i was gunna paint some gsr blades?

LOL, enough til all the shininess goes away. You know that scuffed look. Then just sand it down with 320 evenly followed by 400.
