I know people that do the H22 swap have to prop the back of the hood up like that cause the motor is too big. One of the reasons why I decided not to do the swap.

 

With the proper mounts a h22 will fit fine under the hood.

 

so my car got owned by spike strips today.. tires are fun but my exhaust was ripped away from the header and now i got a bad exhaust leak. thinkin of going euro... 06 GTI? haha

 

so i finally stopped slacking and my friends getting me a DA prop valve, gonna order couple of hard brake lines to start getting ready for the brake tuck. im wondering if any of you guys have done this to your teg *removed abs and tucked*. Ive been going over the shave and tuck thread, and the brake line tuck thread, and im trying to get a list of parts i need (the fittings) I know im going to need 2 for the lines that go to the firewall, and im going to need some fittings on the MC (utilizing my stock 94, didn't swap to the RS method). Im pretty sure if i really sit down and start checking everything out i'll get all the parts i need, just seeing if anyone that has done this can help me out a bit. I wish someone local could help me...but believe it or not, nobody in this lil town here has bothered to think about a brake line tuck.

 

f that. VW's are gay. I would only get the new CC if anything like that. I would def go BMW or BENZ for a euro. Maybe even a Volvo S60R

uhhhh hoods propped because it lets some more air flow thru the engine bay. it gets pretty hot sometimes cas i do alllloootttt of driving. it seems like it works.

....but wat do you mean the 3rd?

 

howd you manage to run over those?

 

why would it get any hotter than a B series engine? thats an awful reason to make your hood fit worse than it does normally. Why run a hood at all by your rationale.
