Heck yes...Chicago has an amazing fireworks display on the 4th. My wife and I have attended them the past two years.

However...we're taking the boys to Omaha, NE next weekend to go to the Henry Doorly Zoo. Today is our 7th wedding anniversary so that is our little get-away.

holy crap. you eat easy mac and hamburger helper while she eats snails and junk i cant pronounce. lol. ill stick with pbjs and pizza. oh also mexican and chinese jimmy buffets.

while speaking of the better halfs. went to get my gfs car ready for this weekend. ummm yeah. rear brake job here i come. have to work 14hrs the next 2 days so ill have to do it thursday night when i get off work aka in the dark. awesome. nothing like last minute. part of it though. lol.

i love to bbq, once i get a new kitchen set i'm going to try more dishes then. i have a mexican girl cook for me all the time. the mother of my child. lol....i cant eat mexican food out much now cause its not as good as freshly made and her tia (aunt) food makes me jizz in my pants.

 

LOL...I understand totally! My wife is 1/2 Mexican 1/2 Spanish so the stuff she makes is amazing and the local restaurants can't even compete. Taco Johns & Taco Bell make me sick to my stomach now.

a few more days until expo. im getting pumped up. worked both jobs yesterday then went home and did a rear brake job on the gf.s car...at midnight. lol. her car needs some cleaning on the inside. the hatch needs a washing to get the bug colony off my front bumper. i also need to get the tab setup done so i can rock the lip and feel comfortable with it on. other than packing im ready to roll.

i will be heading up with a caravan of a few cars. should be fun. then fireworks sunday night. im ready to see how the daughter reacts. she loves loud rumbling motors so she.s probably going to go nuts for fireworks. lol.

@ Gabe- I know Im late but congrats on your anniversary. I just checked out your wife's blog and am amazed. Some of her recipes look good. I might have to try a few.

@ Banner- This group is all about participation. A lot of online groups get bashed for being just that, "online groups". A large majority of the people that participate in this thread have grown together through our builds and even some through experiences. As you already know some of us are trying to attend IA to meet up with other members (my outlook isnt looking good but I'll take it to the wire).
