I understand what your saying Luis. As you get older your priorities change. I kinda feel the same way but its hard to get rid of my car because i know once i see someone else drive away with it i know i will miss it and regret it. im kinda stuck in the middle lol.

 

well I want a stock eg on fresh paint and wheels. thats it. Soo Im not out and Im not leaving the crew!

 

ive been gaining some intrest in EP3's. But like i said i would be hard to see my hatch go.

fark what yaaa huuurddd. i understand priorities change but as a car guy i dont see myself either a) getting rid of the hatch. b) if i were to get of the hatch it would be to get myself into a different car/chassis.

as a car person i see it this way..if other priorities come about i have to step up to meet those needs and still be able to do what i wish with my car/hatch.

i just see myself empty without having a car sitting in the garage knowing i can just go out and pound the crap out of it.

this topic reminds me of my bmx days. i rode alot..well alot doesnt even describe it. it was my life. priorites somewhat changed. i got a somewhat full time job plus going to school as well as getting into cars. the less and less i rode..i had less and less reason to have a bike. i had flow through some companies so i didnt have alot into the bike but retail wise it was probably around 1800 dollars. i could have sold the bike and had some spare cash. i told myself no way. i havent really rode except for a few itches here and there since about 04-05. i still own the bike and will never get rid of it just for those instances that i want to go out and act like i can still 180 or atleast manual. lol.

 

to an extent your state is right, but real reason i sold my hatch was to get out of a major issue before my son got here. im fine taking care of mine, but it was the fastest thing to do to help my issue out. we all come to a point in our life where we must choose, do i miss the car yes, but at points i had lost that passion for it. why keep it around when i had lost the passion? now i have had time away and time to grow and now i feel like i can build a car and make alot better choices then i did before. i also thinks he wants to go about building a car different then he built this one. fresh start.
