All I know is that in person that thing went crazy loud when it hit VTEC. Pure sex to the ears. Its a full auto-x/track car too and he cut the fenders to fit 275s Wide enough?

and that car looks horrid. offset and tire size is perfect if the car was lowered. trying to fit in where ya get in.

I take your word for it. He was telling me about his suspension setup and how the car handles through the turns and whatnot. It def looks quick.

 

just remember a "fast" autox setup doesnt mean it will be a "fast" track setup. also everyone is different so what he likes..you might hate.

with that said..if you plan on just autoxing i would become that guys hip. even if you dont run the event..go. ask questions. become a sponge. you wont learn alot or really much from reading forums. until you go out there you dont even have an idea.

the major "problem" i had at my first track event was how tiresome it was. that saturday night i literally walked into my tent and i was out. sunday i didnt want to drive home because i was so out of it. did anyone on a forum tell me that before hand?? no. hearsay? nope. just had to go to find out. i have a buddy who sleeps every second he can during the day while at an event. lol.

there is nothing perfect about that wheel/tire setup.

 

is it a stock motor?

 

Yeah ive already found a few guys who know what they're doing out there and can help out. Not sure if I'll have a good auto-x season but I'll def come out once at least. I already have a good feel for what to expect.

The motor has a header, exhaust, aem v2 intake and I think that's it. I doubt it's been rebuilt.

 

not my flavor either but you lower the car to the wheels and it will pull the look it is going for.


it has ems most likely also. tuned for a buttload of midrange.

 

not really, it doesn't have the offset to pull of the look, and the tires are TOO stretched.. atleast a 185 needed to be there.

 

its a 165 i have a wider tire on my 13 dount. it looks like **** even if the car was slammed thats to far....it looks like ****.
