So just you give you guy's a little update, I just ended up getting a citylight socket from PWJDM, luckily my contact/sponsor was willing to just hand it over to me with also their last SIR-S 1pc wing. I guess jdm EG part's are getting harder and harder to come by...

Updates:
Im having no luck @ all with my swap. The studs broken in the engine block arent showing any signs of weakness. Ive tried titanium drill bits on them and they still arent showing any wear. Im scared to see what else is gonna happen with this.

I tried what the machinist told me but my previous attempts had the holes off centered so I got down into one of the holes but the other cracked in half. The stud that was broken in there looks like it had welded itself in there. Now I have to find a place to weld the broken piece back on and weld the holes shut in hopes of redrilling them. I hope all this effort is worth it. Im going for broke on this build.

I had the best machine shop in the state look at my mangled gsr block. They considered it useless. The cost for me to repair the damage I might as well go lsvtec. So Im at a crossroads. Either quit and just get a daily for school or finish. And this time Im seriously debating it. Probably save my money and invest in some stocks.

I dont have the time to truely dedicate myself to building a new block. This is my last year of undergrad so I have to give 100% with my education since this is my make or break time to determine if Im graduate school material. Plus if I build a block I always wanted to build a 2.0 GSR. Ill save that for after I graduate. So for now I am just gonna amp up my B16 with all the mods I had for my GSR. Its for the best since I can retain the reliability. Since Im well into the build Im gonna try to break 180whp on my stock B16. This car is just for fun and drivability. I am going to post a FS thread soon with all my extra parts.
