Worked all weekend Im also going to be moving soon and they want me to sell my hatch bc there probably won't be space for it

I'm going to do everything to not get rid of it. This sucks! Worked so hard to get my baby, its like being told I need to do an abortion!

 

I'm pretty sure having an abortion after you already have the baby is called murder. just saying.

hbkfanatic... how about storage room? Cuz i remember when i had to get rid of my first hatch. man I regret it. I miss it so much.... just save up like 1k and pay for the time u need it to be stored.

Yeah maybe, well see. Meanwhile theres also a possibility that it could be registered in 2-3 weeks!!!

 

damm, i know wet sanding and buffing takes a while, but two+ weeks is just outrageous.

you and i both....i keep flip flopping on the suby or evo thing just to have around you know. so i have a 4wd for the winter season.

unless you can get a evo 9, I'd get a suby. it'd be hard to find an evo 8(and 9) that didn't get the **** whooped out of it. not that it'd be any different for a suby, just the suby(well the sti) has a stronger drivetrain IMO. if you're just getting a wrx get an 06+ with the 2.5 unless you want to save a bunch of money and get an older one like mine.

even better is the legacy gt.. nice *** luxury car feel and same basic drivetrain as an sti.

 

Pass inspection lol. Theres some stuff that it will probably fail. I dont have a horn, aftermarket steering wheel so hopefully I wont get bagged for not having an airbag, I also need an o2 sensor and my exhaust is a little loud so Id like to get a stock one but its hard to find haha but I dont think that will stop me from passing. I think thats really it, o2 sensor, airbag and horn. I only have 1 cel (o2 sensor).

 

is an airbag a requirement of your inspections? if so I'd imagine there'd be alot of explaining to do for why the bag was removed. o2 sensor and horn should be easy otherwise though.

 

Yeah, o2 sensor is a plug and play thing and a horn I dont know but I could probably find one in the local junkyard. Im not even sure if I dont have one, where is it located? I was told the front bumper? Theres something round in there that kind of looks like it would be it but its really hard to see. Its on the passenger side behind the radiator, is that it? I dont know if airbag is a requirement or not.

the horn should be located somewhere in the radiator support.. I can't remember where it is on teh civic off the top of my head. should be easy to find though, little circular thing with wires going to it. if anything, you can just rig it to a button just to say you have a horn.

for the airbag, I'd go through your state's vehicle codes or DMV website to find out for sure before taking it.
