dude, at work earlier I realized the last time I was in Hanford was when I went with you guys to so cal like 2 months ago.. and I was only in hanford for like 45min.
apparently that's why I look forward to going back, I'll be regretting it in no time.

I'd guess bent shift fork, do other gears(1, 3, 5) seem any harder than usual to get into?

Not at all. Just as easy. Know of any writes ups on how the change the fork?

if it makes you feel better, my NEW car has to get trans work too! it seems that my third gear has issues (grind!) and there is a service bulletin that hasnt been performed yet. i just dont know if i trust the guys at the dealership i bought it at......
