kinda slow today. prolly cuz its so damn nice out

 

12.90's first time at the track dammit, all motor on a whole new setup, not too damn bad . Few issues to work out and it was hot as hell at the track all day. Get the car to pull a little harder up top, get a bit cooler temps (aka night racing) and we will get it down more.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to say wassup. I picked up a '93 Si hatch last week after searching forever.

i've been building up an EJ1 for the longest time, but always wanted a hatch. now i have to find a paint shop to do an in-and-out on the hatch (once i strip it and take out the motor).

here's a pic of my EJ1 that i will be transfering all the parts from (sorry for the horrible pics):





Seeing your guys' hatches has made me want to build up a hatch. i hope to be posting on here more soon!

Just as soon as I fix the leaks. I need yet another gasket and I need to put another bolt in the header/cat flange. Right now seeing as there is only one bolt in it half the exhaust gas is leaking out right there. I ******* hate those bolts with the springs. I just can't get the 2nd one on there. I've bought a regular bolt to see if I can't get that to work instead.

The gasket I need is from a 90-95 mazda with the V6 engine. The only parts store in town with one is across town. I bought one and it turns out I need a 2nd.

EDIT: I finally found the right size bolt and fixed the header/cat flange leak. Just gotta get that gasket now...

Damn Si's are getting harder and harder to find now a days. But the coupe look's good bro' and good luck on your hatch build up. Keep us posted on your updates.

On a side note, this past week and up until this week has been shitty cause I came down on the flu over the weekend and had a fever close to 100. Still feelin' the shitty flu in my system.

We'll see how my flu does till this weekend, if it's still pretty bad then chances are I'm not gonna make it. And working 60hr's a week with no day off isn't a fun party either.
