We had a group of friends back in the day with some hybrid hatches (circa 1999-2002 or so) and unfortunately I am the only one from that clique that still has one. I've still got some other friends with the old EH styles that are pretty sick. We're just getting old so we don't have as much time for meets, auto-Xes, drag stuff, etc. There are some pretty nice hatches in GA, but like you guys said we're pretty spread out. East Coast altogether has some crazy ****, but as far as sheer numbers of amazing cars go Cali's got everyone beat hands down IMO.
I jumped in a time machine and found this guy from 2001 that was trying to send his pics to the first ten members:

That guy had a B18C5 swap, Integra brakes, 97 GS-R seats, car was completely resprayed including engine bay, engine harness reloomed/wrapped, deleted p/s with a CX rack, deleted cruise, A/C, had Skunkworks/AGX suspension, etc. etc. dude was running 13.9@101mph at full interior street weight on street tires with 2.2 60 footers too. I can't remember the guy's name though...
Notice the 2001-type horrible picture quality before megapixels even existed. Sony Mavica with a floppy disc FTW!

^^^^I considered moving back to Georgia but I don't know that many people that are into imports out there. I wanted/want to go to UGA for their human biology program. I had a 1994 Si and wanted to swap and such but like I said, I don't know anyone in Georgia. I heard they're pretty easy on smog checks out there.

Well UGA is in Athens and there's not a huge scene there, but they've got a shop there with a few 10 soon to be 9 second Civics and i'm sure there's a small crowd of EH guys on campus probably.
Atlanta and the surrounding metro area has some pretty sick cars. Every first thursday night at The Varsity (world famous hotdog joint in the heart of downtown ATL) there is a huge car meet with nothing but imports. There are two huge message boards that are ATL-based that meet there, and one brings a lot of "show-type" cars, while the other brings a lot of clean cars you guys would appreciate.
I'm personally not as big a part of the car "scene" being married, in a band, working 50 hours a week, etc.

out here on the east coast, its more of a southeast thing..... we have the warmer weather
dont get me wrong, i lived in michigan and have been to NY, there are some nice cars, but you could only drive them 8 months out of the year. i always hated that.

Damn really? My friend that was in the Army was stationed in GA for a little over 2 years and he said he's only seen like a few clean cars/import's there. He said the whole big car on 24's and up is really crazy out there, he also said it could be any type of classic car and they'd put 24's on them.
