no your right. The 96-00 EX 4dr's have a d16Y8. the 92-95 4dr's i don't belive came with a vtec equipped engine, just a d15B7. And then theres the EF 4dr EX that had the D16A6.

Did you even know that there was a 4dr EX model for the 92-95 chassis? According to Edmunds, the 94 Civic EX sedan had a 125hp at 6600rpm and 106ft.-lbs. torque, and a 1.6L engine, and they rated the engine at 29 mpg city, 35 mpg hwy, I think they are talking about the EX/Si engine...which I believed was still the D16Z6 for these year cars.

nope, thats why i said "i dont believe" they came with a vtec engine, i was unsure.
